Want to do something for india
i have 1 idea in my mind ...
whenever i go back to india..i want to try to implement this against corruption.
if i have my own company then no problem.if not i will request my boss for permission.
i will like to form volunteer group of which every individual will take 1 hour of his daytime to volunteer against corruption.
you will go to nearest corruption hot place namely traffic police group location or nearest goverment office
and stand with camera. maybe initially sting operation or open gandhigiri operation of camera in front of all.
well for start if it could save some corruption i will think it will be v v good headstart.
nobody will be allowed to take just 1 convenient time of say before or office hrs or sleep time..
we will keep on rotating shifts so that over a month / several weeks. you have worked for all kind of hourly shifts...
the reason it shld be near to your workplace because.. if we blend this with our convenience then it will be helpful and may inspire other people as well..
i think it will be 1 hr well spent in a day..
i will team up few folks.. girls with boys . so that they feel protection against violent elements..
i cant propose this idea now. because i want to start on my own.. and feel it and check if it is working and convenient ..

Two hands make a sound. You will be punishing only 1 involved party. What about the other.

1. One who ask for bribe.
2. One who give the bribe.
The population of the later is way bigger than the former.
If bribing is not there, India will come to a stand still. A normal government employee cannot provide all the amenities to its family on government salary. So extra income is necessary.
What could be done:
1. Take money from the rich class (who can afford it). This class will be happy to get their work done without spending their time.
2. Don't force poor class to pay money. Complete the work as per the process without any harassment.
I think if this is implemented. I could see a win-win situation.
anything decided on fuzzy logic. doesnt work in code :D and not in political system i guess..
ReplyDeleterich/poor/extra/varying charges are all relative and dynamic terms. they can change..
also human nature says that if u r getting something for free... why will u pay for it..
rich will claim themselves as poor and njoi benefit..that is what happening today ..for those quotas. obc certificates. farmers certificates..
the migration process from corruption to no corruption is diificult. and it will lead to few victims..but then eventually one rule for all... standarization of process and income will make things simple ..
i know this seems to be very very long shot. but atleast for me this(no corruption) seems to be right way to go.
