free hugs campaign

this post may not sound "man"ly.. ( but i dont care :P )
from long time i have wish to start a free hugs campaign.
Irony it is, it is not for making others feel better. it is for me.
i feel nice after hug.(and this is not after munnabhai effect)

During college days also i liked to hug. but then some friends(especially girls) had reservations..
raised eyebrows. so i chucked the idea..then i came to usa. and atleast i got little flexibility.
when i bought car last year , i thought  i should start free hugs campaign..
i am little hesitant and probably little more confidence i will do it.. within few weeks ..
just drive to sf and hug everybody who will voluntarily hug me. i am sure they will also feel better.
usc friends have nice habit of hugging each other whenever we meet .especially after long time ..
haha i remember on Sanvasatri. during micchamidukadam ..i hugged few ppl.. ppl asked are you celebrating Eid as well.. funny it is. but it feels nice..

lets hope i do free hugs campaign before i do india trip this year end.

    Today is national hug day.. one of the best thing which i love to do... hugs to all my dear ones :)

It is that time of year when IPL (Indian premier league) is back.Basically it is the tournament to play T20 cricket matches in India. There is a ongoing controversy over IPL matches being hosted in Maharashtra. Several states in India are facing severe drought and Maharashtra is one of them. Court case has been filed to move all IPL matches from Maharashtra - reason being too much use of water to host these matches. I must admit that i am too confused to take side on this issue. it seems logical to stop all water usage activities which can be marked as luxury.Certainly watching/hosting cricket is not a must requirement to live. On the other side issue seems to be political. By far almost everyone knows that Cricket in India is not just a sport, it is all about passion/ heroes/ superheroes / Sachin :-) . Aishna turns 2!!

Ahh my sweet angel turns 2 today. Happy birthday dear Aishna!! Cant believe its been 2 years ...seems like yesterday when i was holding you for first time in operation theatre. A tiny little angel who could fit on my hand ( I have pic!!)  and now who is tall enough to start gas burner :P. This blog is just a reminder to her and myself that life is going to change after today.I cant call her baby anymore :( . she is officially entering into world of comparisons, benchmarks and lots & lots of milestones. But dont worry her dad & mom are there to help her and love her. Now is the time she will be officially under quiz about her physical and mental milestones. No matter how much we all wish but you cant avoid being compared. Better embrace it and overcome it. Be it a common place like garden,school or your house - it will be series of Age vs other kids vs Aishna. Life for aishna has been quite different . Life in india

I am in india for vacation. Came after 2 years.. Life in india has changed a lot. Its been 7 years now since i left india for studies and job.. since then i am visiting india almost every december except last year. But every time(year) i come here - it feels i am stuck in the old 7 year old (Aug 2007) past . I still see my cousins as kids - although now they are near their matrimony age. they have grown up.. pune has grown up and grown western.. halloween parties ...miami club ..thoushand oaks seems to be normal conversation and weekly routine ... dresses / food habits / talks are almost same here and there ... Also i feel the 7 year old past because - first time i am working from a company here.. i travel daily to IT park Hinjewadi for my company issues. Its been a struggle to commute daily through traffic and company bus. Yeah i know how exactly it sounds...an NRI guy cribbing about indian roads/ pollution / traffic blah blah..
